Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Manage incoming correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail, with professionalism and accuracy.
- Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and directions.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions, balancing the register at the end of each shift.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry using property management systems.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests immediately and escalate complex issues to the manager.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during peak hours.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new software.
- Reliable transportation and availability for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
- A friendly attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
