Responsibilities
- Execute the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest data and billing information.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and a welcoming demeanor.
- Manage room assignments and reservations to maximize occupancy while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests immediately and escalate complex issues to management as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the front desk area and lobby.
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
- Utilize property management systems (PMS) to update guest profiles and manage daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, concierge, or customer service role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a fluent command of the English language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with hotel property management software (e.g., Opera, Smith Travel) is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
