Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through personalized check-in/check-out experiences
- Manage room reservations, availability, and rate adjustments in PMS systems
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with solution-oriented approaches
- Process payments, maintain accurate financial records, and balance daily transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments for seamless operations
- Execute upselling strategies to maximize revenue and enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain security protocols and manage lost-and-found procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or high-volume customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Cloudbeds preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills with a guest-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Tampa attractions and local services
- Valid Florida driver's license (for guest transportation assistance)
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
