Responsibilities
- Manage the efficient check-in and check-out process for all guests, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints and requests with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
- Process payments accurately using the Property Management System (PMS) and credit card machines.
- Monitor the lobby area to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all guests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception desk and public areas.
- Assist in coordinating housekeeping services to ensure rooms meet our high standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, SkyTouch).
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light boxes or luggage when necessary.
- Clean criminal background check required.
