As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our property. You will manage guest relations, handle reservations, and ensure the seamless operation of the front desk. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing the check-in and check-out process with efficiency and a smile.
- Manage room assignments, reservations, and billing inquiries using our property management system (PMS).
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and voicemails, directing messages to the appropriate departments promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the front desk area and lobby.
- Process payments, manage cash transactions, and balance daily bank drops accurately.
- Assist guests with local directions, dining recommendations, and special requests to enhance their stay.
- Address guest complaints or concerns immediately and escalate to the Manager when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or hospitality role.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) or similar reservation systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
