Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and accuracy
- Handle reservations, inquiries, and payment transactions using PMS software
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and coordinate with housekeeping/management
- Maintain meticulous records of guest preferences and special requests
- Process mail/deliveries and assist with luggage services
- Uphold brand standards through impeccable personal presentation
- Collaborate with security team to ensure guest safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality/customer service experience
- Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Michigan driver's license (if valet duties required)
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions and transportation
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality degree preferred)
