Responsibilities
- Manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide local recommendations
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and amenities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Participate in daily shift briefings and team meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service experience in hospitality
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, RMS)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Portland attractions and transportation
