Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes with speed and accuracy
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests proactively
- Process payments and manage reservation systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
- Upsell hotel amenities and services
- Ensure lobby area remains pristine and welcoming
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk experience required
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Opera or PMS systems
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible schedule availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
