Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out procedures with accuracy and professionalism
- Handle reservation inquiries and modify bookings using property management systems
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial transaction records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Perform daily audits of front desk operations and documentation
- Assist with valet services and luggage handling as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or customer service experience required
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Portland attractions and local transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Valid Oregon driver's license if assisting with valet services
