Responsibilities
- Process guest check-ins/checkouts efficiently using Opera property management system
- Manage reservations and room assignments while maximizing occupancy rates
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for special requests
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash drawer procedures
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
- Maintain lobby cleanliness and professional appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality/customer service experience required
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends/holidays
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Michigan driver's license (if driving shuttle service)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
