Your Mission:
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for their entire stay. We need someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and genuinely warm.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests with a warm smile, efficiently check them in and out, and answer inquiries about local attractions, dining, and amenities.
- Reservation Management: Process reservations accurately using the Property Management System (PMS) and manage room assignments to ensure optimal occupancy.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or special requests with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues to the Manager when necessary.
- Upselling: Proactively promote hotel services, packages, and upgrades to maximize revenue.
- Housekeeping Liaison: Communicate room status and maintenance needs to the housekeeping team to ensure a pristine guest environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, handle cash transactions, and prepare daily reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of front desk experience in a hotel or upscale hospitality setting is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is required.
- Customer Service: A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and resolving conflicts professionally.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (morning, evening, night).
- Professionalism: A neat, professional appearance and a positive attitude.
