Your Role
As a Front Desk Agent, you will serve as the face of our hotel, ensuring every guest feels valued and welcomed. Your role is critical in maintaining our high standards of service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, verifying guest information and processing payments accurately.
- Communication: Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and faxes promptly, answering inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and dining options.
- Operations: Monitor the lobby area to ensure it remains organized and welcoming at all times.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve guest complaints or issues immediately to maintain high guest satisfaction scores.
- Admin Tasks: Maintain accurate records of guest registrations, reconcile daily reports, and update the property management system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards are mandatory.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Attitude: A friendly, proactive, and customer-centric approach to service.
