Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In/Out: Verify guest identities, process payments, and issue room keys using our property management system.
- Guest Relations: Anticipate guest needs, handle inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a seamless and memorable experience.
- Communication: Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, route calls, and respond to email inquiries promptly.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate guest records, update folios, and prepare daily reports.
- Security & Safety: Adhere to all hotel security protocols, conduct safety briefings, and monitor surveillance cameras.
- Event Coordination: Assist with registration for special events and manage VIP arrivals.
- Lobby Management: Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous front desk or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel PMS software (e.g., Oracle, Opera).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of English.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods, lift luggage (up to 25 lbs), and move around the property.
- Attitude: A friendly, professional demeanor with a genuine passion for customer service.
