Responsibilities
- Check guests in/out efficiently using Opera PMS while maintaining high service standards
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and VIP guest requests with precision
- Handle billing inquiries, payment processing, and cash drawer reconciliation
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and security teams for seamless operations
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidentiality of sensitive information
- Act as hotel ambassador, providing local recommendations and assistance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years luxury hotel front desk experience required
- Proficiency in Opera PMS or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Valid New York State driver's license preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of NYC attractions and transportation systems
