In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. You will manage reservations, handle inquiries, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a memorable first and last impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, processing payments and managing room assignments using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking accurate reservations and messages with a professional tone.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and reception spaces.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing daily reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; previous hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse guests and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
