Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests upon arrival, checking them in efficiently while ensuring a personalized experience.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly, resolving issues to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Reservations & Check-outs: Manage the front desk operations, including processing reservations, issuing invoices, and conducting accurate check-outs.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails professionally, directing messages to the appropriate departments and taking accurate messages.
- Security & Safety: Monitor front desk security cameras and access logs to ensure the safety of guests and property at all times.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain the lobby area, manage the mailroom, and handle cash handling and currency exchange tasks accurately.
- Upselling: Inform guests of hotel amenities, promotions, and local Miami attractions to enhance their stay experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar hospitality role is preferred but not required for our urgent hiring drive.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a huge plus.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor with a friendly, approachable personality.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
