Responsibilities
- Execute seamless check-in and check-out procedures for all overnight guests with accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor hotel security systems and common areas to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, including emergency lines, with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Manage key card access and maintain the front desk logbook with up-to-date information.
- Assist guests with wake-up calls, local transportation, and special requests.
- Handle minor complaints and issues immediately, escalating to management when necessary.
- Perform nightly security rounds and post-checkout cleaning checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous front desk or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Clean, professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming attitude.
