Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/checkouts using Opera PMS system with 100% accuracy
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with diplomacy
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency protocols
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile nightly reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest needs
- Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest profiles
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and amenities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Night shift availability (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- TABC certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic knowledge of foreign languages (Spanish/French a plus)
