Responsibilities
- Guest Check-in/Out: Efficiently process all guest registrations, check-outs, and payments using our property management system (PMS).
- Guest Relations: Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly, ensuring a memorable and comfortable stay for every visitor.
- Security & Access: Monitor hotel access points, verify key cards, and ensure the security of the property and guests during the night shift.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for guests and staff during off-hours, including answering phones and managing wake-up calls.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are cleaned and ready for check-in the following morning.
- Financial Accuracy: Handle cash, credit cards, and checks with strict adherence to company policies and audit trails.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk, concierge, or customer service role is preferred; hospitality graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) including weekends and holidays.
- Skills: Proficiency with computer systems, specifically Property Management Systems (like Opera or similar).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; a second language is a plus.
- Professionalism: A professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and resolve issues independently when management is not on-site.
