Responsibilities
- Manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with exceptional service standards
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures following company protocols
- Coordinate housekeeping maintenance requests and guest amenities
- Utilize property management systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi) for reservations and billing
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Collaborate with concierge and dining teams to enhance guest experiences
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience in hospitality
- Proficiency with property management systems and MS Office Suite
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail with multi-tasking capabilities
- Basic knowledge of Virginia Beach tourism attractions and services
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (if required for local errands)
