Responsibilities
- Efficiently check guests in/out using our property management system while maintaining accuracy in all transactions
- Manage reservation inquiries and modifications via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Process payments, handle cash/credit card transactions, and balance daily reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest services
- Act as local expert, providing recommendations for attractions, dining, and transportation
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area during all shifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality/customer service experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
- Basic knowledge of Long Beach attractions and transportation options
