Job Summary
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for the smooth operation of the front desk, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and efficient service during their stay. You will be the bridge between our guests and the rest of the hotel team.
Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In & Check-Out: Process reservations, verify guest identities, and issue room keys using Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
- Operations Support: Assist with baggage handling, concierge services, and coordination with housekeeping to ensure room readiness.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls professionally and manage correspondence via email or in-person.
- Revenue Management: Upsell rooms and packages where appropriate to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Security & Safety: Adhere to all hotel security protocols and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort operations is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable learning new property management software and computer systems.
- Professionalism: A neat appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
