Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out procedures using Opera PMS system
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for guest requests
- Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and discretion
- Upsell hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experience
- Maintain organized front desk area and ensure lobby standards
- Train new team members on front desk protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
