Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel property management system (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with poise, patience, and professionalism.
- Process payments accurately and maintain proper cash and credit card handling procedures.
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and transfer calls to the appropriate departments.
- Assist with luggage handling and provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and transportation.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
