Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide a warm welcome to guests, handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and answer inquiries regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Reservations: Manage room reservations using the Property Management System (PMS), ensuring accuracy in rates and availability.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to the manager when necessary.
- Administrative Duties: Process payments, maintain accurate guest folios, and handle cash and credit transactions securely.
- Lobby Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby, ensuring a professional atmosphere.
- Communication: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest services role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency with PMS experience (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Customer Focus: A genuine passion for helping others and delivering top-tier customer service.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
