Responsibilities

  • Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Reservation Management: Handle incoming calls and emails for reservations, accurately entering data into the PMS system.
  • Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk operations, including processing payments, issuing keys, and managing room assignments.
  • Security and Safety: Adhere to all hotel security protocols and fire safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate efficiently with housekeeping staff to ensure room readiness and maintenance requests are resolved.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polite and professional telephone manner.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Micros, or Smith Travel.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality training is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: A positive attitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and a genuine passion for customer service.
