Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain and replenish guest amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) to ensure a welcoming experience.
- Make beds and change linens according to strict hotel policies and visual inspection guidelines.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors in hallways and public spaces.
- Remove trash and recyclables from rooms and public areas promptly.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager immediately.
- Interact professionally and courteously with guests and fellow staff members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (8-hour shifts).
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
