Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, checking them in and out efficiently using our property management system.
- Manage room assignments, process payments, and handle guest inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby area, including front desk desk, seating areas, and restrooms.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely manner to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Process wake-up calls, express check-outs, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management as needed.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, safety protocols, and security procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality or tourism is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service role or front desk operations is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
