Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and handling check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, manage email inquiries, and respond to guest requests promptly using hotel software systems.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Operations Support: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces.
- Security: Monitor security cameras, verify identification for guests, and follow all hotel safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Reservation Management: Update and maintain guest profiles in the Property Management System (PMS) accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk or hospitality role preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business coursework is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, GuestCentric).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professionalism: Strong customer service orientation with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and guest record management.
