Responsibilities
- Guest Welcome: Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and a smooth check-in process.
- Check-In/Out: Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and room key distribution efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Reservations: Assist with booking modifications, cancellations, and answering questions regarding room rates and availability.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to email inquiries, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs promptly.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints or special requests with patience and professionalism, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Lobby Management: Maintain the cleanliness and order of the front desk and lobby area to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Security: Verify identification and maintain security protocols for all guests and visitors entering the hotel premises.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attitude: A friendly, service-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction.
