Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining a warm, welcoming demeanor
- Manage reservations and room assignments using property management systems
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with prompt, personalized solutions
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Execute upselling initiatives to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Maintain pristine front desk area appearance and organization
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience required
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, FOSSE) preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a guest-first mindset
- Availability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans attractions and local services
