In this role, you will be the face of The Grand Chelsea Hotel, ensuring our guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage a high volume of check-ins, handle inquiries with grace, and contribute to a luxurious atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests and check them in/out efficiently using our property management system.
- Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring prompt and courteous resolutions.
- Reservation Management: Manage phone lines, assist with reservations, and update guest profiles as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, maintain accurate logs, and ensure the front desk area is organized and pristine.
- Concierge Support: Assist guests with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and special requests.
- Security & Safety: Adhere to all hotel safety and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professionalism: High standards of grooming and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with computers, POS systems, and property management software.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
