As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll embody our commitment to excellence through warm hospitality, seamless check-in/out processes, and personalized service. Weekend availability is essential, with shifts covering Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/out procedures while maintaining accuracy in reservation systems
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, including coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experiences and revenue
- Monitor and maintain the front desk lobby area ensuring impeccable presentation
- Collaborate with security team to implement access control procedures
- Prepare end-of-day reports and manage key inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of front desk or hospitality experience in a luxury hotel setting
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English; multilingual abilities preferred
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera or similar)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Valid Washington DC hospitality license and basic first aid certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
