Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using resort management systems while maintaining accuracy in financial transactions
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and VIP requests with meticulous attention to detail
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating complex issues to management
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet teams to ensure seamless operations
- Process payments, handle cash/credit transactions, and maintain accurate shift reports
- Act as a local Phoenix ambassador, providing recommendations for dining, attractions, and events
- Maintain a pristine front desk environment with organized supplies and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality front desk or customer-facing role
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar)
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English; bilingual Spanish preferred
- Ability to multitask effectively during peak check-in/check-out periods
- Strong problem-solving skills with a calm demeanor under pressure
- Valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record (for valet coordination)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and potential overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification a plus
