Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during weekend shifts, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process for all guests.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Answer and route incoming calls promptly, managing voicemails and taking accurate messages.
- Process guest payments, handle credit card transactions, and maintain accurate daily logs of financial transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and any issues are resolved efficiently.
- Handle guest complaints or requests with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues to the management team when necessary.
- Assist with concierge services, including restaurant reservations and transportation arrangements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Proficiency in using property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, positive attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
