Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage check-in/check-out processes while maintaining accuracy in reservation systems
- Resolve guest inquiries with professionalism and problem-solving expertise
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision
- Uphroom cleanliness standards and safety protocols
- Assist with special requests and VIP guest arrangements
- Conduct nightly audits and report discrepancies to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera, Fidelio, or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Fri-Sun) and holidays
- Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
