Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Process check-ins, check-outs, and room changes efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
- Manage phone lines, respond to emails, and handle reservations accurately.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in the night audit process during weekend shifts to maintain accurate financial records.
- Upsell room upgrades and local attractions to maximize revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest services role is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and hotel management software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 20 lbs).
