Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Operations Management: Manage the front desk operations during weekends, including answering multi-line phones, managing reservations, and handling correspondence.
- Payment Processing: Accurately process payments, manage room keys, and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly in the property management system.
- Problem Solving: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Lobby Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, lobby, and public spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Administrative Support: Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate guest records and logs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Smith Travel).
- Attitude: A positive attitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
