Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest check-in/check-out experiences using Opera property management system
- Manage reservation inquiries and optimize room occupancy rates
- Resolve guest concerns promptly while maintaining service excellence standards
- Process payments accurately and maintain financial transaction records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Execute upselling strategies for premium room categories and amenities
- Maintain detailed knowledge of local attractions and transportation options
- Participate in daily team briefings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (if required for shuttle duties)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of revenue management principles
