Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes efficiently using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and resolve concerns with exceptional service
- Process payments, manage cash drawer, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
- Upsell hotel amenities, packages, and local attractions to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain clean, organized front desk area and lobby environment
- Assist with group reservations, special events, and VIP guest arrangements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience required
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of Columbus attractions and transportation options
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
