Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera PMS system
- Handle reservation inquiries and modify bookings in real-time
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile daily transactions
- Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for room status updates
- Upsell hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of Minneapolis attractions and transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Valid MN driver's license (for airport shuttle duties)
