Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and ensure a smooth arrival experience.
- Reservations: Manage the hotel reservation system accurately, processing bookings and modifying existing reservations efficiently.
- Reception Duties: Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding amenities, local attractions, and room availability.
- Lobby Management: Maintain a tidy and organized lobby area, coordinate with housekeeping to address guest requests, and assist with luggage or directions.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process payments, balance daily transactions, and prepare financial reports for management.
- Guest Services: Proactively address guest complaints or issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professionalism: A polished, professional appearance and a positive, welcoming attitude.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
