Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest check-in/check-out services with personalized attention
- Manage room reservations and optimize occupancy rates through strategic upselling
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly using strong problem-solving skills
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
- Process payments and manage cash drawer operations
- Conduct daily audits and financial reporting tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of luxury hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency in Opera or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid Virginia driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of Virginia Beach tourism attractions and services
- Ability to multitask effectively during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
