Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance optimization for 24/7 coverage
- Resolve guest concerns promptly to maintain 95%+ satisfaction scores
- Monitor budget adherence and implement cost-control measures
- Coordinate with Virginia regional team on operational standards and promotions
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and accessibility regulations
- Develop strategies to increase occupancy and revenue across all shifts
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel management experience with shift-based operations
- Proven leadership in high-volume hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Opera/Micros preferred)
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience
- Valid Maryland Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
