Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk staff during assigned shifts ensuring exceptional guest service
- Manage check-in/check-out processes, room assignments, and guest inquiries
- Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for operational efficiency
- Handle escalated guest concerns and resolve issues with discretion
- Oversee cash handling, payment processing, and financial reconciliation
- Train new staff on hotel systems, protocols, and service standards
- Maintain accurate shift logs and operational documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel or hospitality management experience required
- Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume shift environments
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak periods
- Valid Massachusetts hospitality alcohol certification
