Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive business plans and operational strategies to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse management team, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Guest Relations: Serve as the primary liaison for VIP guests and resolve complex issues to ensure a seamless and luxurious stay.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to drive occupancy rates and enhance the hotel's brand presence in the competitive Seattle market.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in progressive hotel management roles, preferably within luxury or upscale properties.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to motivate staff.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Technology: Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
