As the General Manager, you will be the face of the hotel, ensuring that every guest leaves with a memorable experience while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring seamless execution.
- Manage the hotel's financial performance by monitoring P&L statements, developing budgets, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, guest service excellence, and professional development.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility, drive direct bookings, and maintain high occupancy rates.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and regulatory standards, including local, state, and federal laws.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and local businesses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent progressive experience).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, preferably in a luxury or full-service environment.
- Proven ability to manage P&L, budgeting, and forecasting with a results-driven approach.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on team development.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
