Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations of the resort, including front-of-house, housekeeping, and culinary departments.
  • Manage the P&L (Profit & Loss) with a focus on maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and occupancy rates.
  • Foster a positive work environment by recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing leadership team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, vendors, and community partners.
  • Handle high-level guest inquiries and resolve complex issues with grace and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, including 3+ years in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role.
  • Proven track record of increasing profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Opera PMS and other hotel management software.
  • Valid California Food Service Handler’s certification is preferred.
