As the General Manager, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for the overall profitability and guest satisfaction of the property. You will oversee all departments, ensuring that every guest experience is memorable and every team member feels valued.
Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance) function seamlessly and to the highest standards.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage the hotel's P&L, control operating expenses, and develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Guest Relations: Build strong relationships with VIP guests and handle high-level guest inquiries and complaints with grace and efficiency to ensure 100% satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a high-performing diverse team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the ownership group to set annual budgets, marketing goals, and long-term business plans.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies regarding health, safety, and security.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with a proven track record in a full-service or luxury environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, conduct performance reviews, and resolve conflict effectively.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to present to stakeholders and lead meetings.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Oracle Opera, StayNTouch, or similar software.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
