Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel property management system (PMS).
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and manage the front desk console with professionalism.
- Provide accurate information regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with empathy, escalating complex issues to management immediately.
- Assist with luggage handling and valet coordination for arriving and departing guests.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the lobby and front desk area.
- Process payments and prepare accurate folios for hotel stays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in hospitality is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer literacy.
- A professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
